Abstract

The issues of philosophy of Science and Technology (Scientech) is not only being debated in the Malay Archipelago, but also in the western world. This paperwork deliberated about scientech knowledge shift. Polarisation of educational system has been a tradition in the Malay Archipelago, which now requires new thinking pattern. Besides, the discussions on historiography values in science and technology are not exposed to the traditional Islamic sciences’ basic and concept which is mabadi’ al-‘asharah (ten foundations). Next, discussions of scientech and conspiracy issues in science and technology are also being brought up through innovations developed. Moreover, discussions about scientech issues are triggered by scholars through new thinking conscious movement. Finally, the discussions on science creation issues which been argued long time before. Today, the pattern of education development in Islamic world does not fully mirror the curicular based on al-Quran and al-Sunnah. This matter also does not exclude science education which plays important part in that curricular. The methodology of this paperwork is based on a library research focusing on synthesis and thematically categorised through the analysis of books, papers and scientific journals. Subsequently, this paperwork suggests a futuristic shift of thinking among Islamic scholars in the Malay Archipelago in forming a holistic Islamic sciences education which covers physical, emotional, spiritual and intelectual  education with an ubudiyyah foundation.  


Abstrak
Isu falsafah Sains dan Teknologi (Saintek) tidak hanya dibincangkan di Nusantara, malahan juga dibincangkan di dunia barat. Kertas kerja ini membincangkan tentang kekeliruan tentang ilmu saintek di negara umat islam meliputi Nusantara yang kini memerlukan anjakan. Sistem polarisasi aliran pendidikan yang telah menjadi tradisi di Nusantara kini perlukan corak pemikiran baharu. Selain itu, perbincangan nilai-nilai historiografi dalam bidang sains dan teknologi yang tidak terdedah kepada konsep dan asas tradisi sains Islam iaitu mabãdi’ al-‘asyarah (sepuluh asas). Selain itu, perbincangan saintek dan isu-isu konspirasi dalam sains dan teknologi turut dikupas melalui inovasi yang dihasilkan. Tambahan pula perbincangan isu-isu saintek yang dicetuskan oleh para sarjana melalui gerakan pemikiran kesedaran baharu. Akhirnya akan dibincangkan isu-isu berkaitan dengan sains penciptaan yang menjadi perdebatan sejak sekian lama. Dewasa kini corak perkembangan pendidikan di dunia Islam tidak sepenuhnya mencerminkan kurikulum yang berasaskan al-Quran dan Sunnah. Hal ini tidak terkecuali melibatkan pendidikan sains yang menjadi bahagian penting daripada kurikulum tersebut. Metodologi kajian ini berteraskan kajian perpustakaan yang menumpukan penilaian secara sintesis dan di kelaskan secara tematik melalui analisis hasil karya-karya asli, kertas-kertas kerja dan jurnal-jurnal ilmiah. Seterusnya, kertas kerja ini telah mencadangkan satu anjakan futuristik pemikiran ilmuan Islam di Nusantara dalam membentuk pendidikan sains Islam yang bersifat holistik yang meliputi jasmani, emosi, rohani dan intelek yang berteraskan kepada ubudiyyah.
